Pigs are Freeeeeeeeeeee

First thing this morning i opened the gate and they took off almost airborne. They ran out to the front pasture and I followed behind them with camera in hand and to make sure the horses didn't spook. We all got around the back and then they took off again and so darn cute that when they spotted me they all came racing back. This was not a sign of affection but rather I was a safety check point cause once checked in they took off in all directions. Some checking out the horses , some the barn and Soda went up and down the manure pile. Scotch is in love with my quarter horse and i had to herd him away from her a few times. As you can see from the final picture once i put them away he went for a dip in the mud wallow and cooled his hot and bothered self off. ;o))

Lucky, lucky pigs - they are my little speedsters!!!!
I wonder why Scotch loves Dior so much - perhaps he once had a horse in his former life, before the place from which he was rescued. Scotch and Dior, best friends - how cute is that!

When Princess Erma first moved here (unspayed) she loved her too. Barney loved her and so does Tortilla. In fact Comet too..she is an exceptioanl horse and loves the pigs too.

But your Scotch is in no hurry too come home, even for dinner!!! Everyone took off exploring and found there way all around the acreage, under the bird feeder, next door at Marios ect and then came home when i called them. Scotch was not ready and no amount of coaxing with yummy treats could pry him away from visiting with the Butter Cup kids. He is a visitor!!!

I'm so glad to hear that they are exploring their new digs and seem to be settling in.
